Moab is relatively simple to navigate. Tourists primarily use Main Street and the branching side streets- so everything is compact. This is the region where you will find most hotels, restaurants, attraction tickets, supermarkets, and gas stations. The town is pleasant to stroll in the evening after a day of sightseeing. Despite Moab’s isolated location- do not expect prices to be cheaper- this is a tourist driven town with restaurant and lodging prices equivalent to any major city. Please remember that many restaurants are closed in Utah on Sundays- so plan accordingly.

Lodging- The Virginian

The Virginian Inn is an excellent choice for lodging. It is located directly off of Main Street with easy walking access to restaurants and souvenirs and a quick drive to the main supermarket and gas stations. It is located on the section of Main Street that is closest to Arches National Park.
