What Is It?

A summer toboggan ride on a bobsled-like sled on a track that mimics the geography- generally built on a side of hill. A ski lift is often used to bring people to the top for running.

The track at Todtnau is 2.9 km (1.8 mi) long and is reached via chair lift. The sledge is mounted on rails and its speed is controlled by you through hand brakes. Children age 8 and measuring 1.4 meters are cable to drive by themselves. Children age 3 and 95 cm can ride with mom and dad.

There is a snack bar at the end of the coaster.

It makes for a great thrill during a day of hiking.
